Who inspires you?
It’s important that, as we move through life, we find people who help us to stay inspired.
I, for one, find Theodore Roosevelt crazy inspirational.
In short: he overcame a lot.
When he was a kid, he had asthma and was sickly.
Later, he was picked on for dressing well and for having a high-pitched voice.
One day, his wife and his mother died on the same day… across the hall from each other.
Talk about a bunch of stuff that could make you curl up in a shell and never poke your head out again!
But he worked hard to overcome his physical ailments. And after the loss of his wife and mother, he reinvented himself in the west.
All in all, he goes down in history as one of the most vigorous, alive dudes who ever lived.
So, yeah, I find him crazy inspirational.
That’s why I was absolutely thrilled to come across this video of a re-enactor playing T.R. last week:
Pretty awesome, right?
I felt completely charged after watching the re-enactor – What must the real guy have been like? Whatever he was like, I’m inspired.
So, charge up with someone who inspires you.
Then tell me: who inspires you?
